Overview

Tilicho peak climbing is one of the most challenging peak climbing in Nepal. Tilicho
expedition offers stunning Himalayan views of whole Annapurna region, beautiful
landscape , lush valleys and mixed cultures. Tilicho peak (7,134m/23,406ft) is popular
trekking peak in Annapurna region Tilicho peak expedition is little bit hard climbing then
the other mountain having same altitude. Tilicho lake is the first base camp of Tilicho
peak expedition where HJT climbing guide will teach to you how to fixed the rope, how
to blay the rope , how to ascend or descend while climbing the peak. Good physical
fitness and climbing skills required for Tilicho peak climbing. Autumn & spring season is
best time for climbing Tilicho peak.
The standard caravan route to reach the Advanced Base Camp of Tilicho Peak goes
through Besishahar via the Marsyangdi Valley. The approach takes around 8 days and
offers excellent acclimatization. After the Tilicho Peak climb one option to return to
Kathmandu is to hike 4 days via Thorong La pass (5416m/17769ft.) then fly from
Jomsom to Pokhara then drive back to Kathmandu. Another option is to go through the
difficult Mesokanto Pass (5300m) and then fly from Jomsom to Pokhara. Summiters
have breathtaking views of the Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Lake, Tibetan
plateau and down to the deepest valley in the world the Kali Gandaki Valley.

  • Experienced and government licensed trekking and climbing Sherpa guide during the trekking and climbing period.

Day 27:Thorong Phedi to Muktinath.
