Phullchowki Day Hiking

Pulchowki hill is located in the southeast of the capital of Nepal ‘Kathmandu’ and renowned for idyllic views, different species of bird and the vegetations.  It is the highest hills surrounding the Kathmandu valley with an altitude of 2750 meter. After breakfast at the hotel, we drive 14 km by bus or car takes 4omin approximately the place name Godavari. Due to the beautiful and dense forest, different verities of birds and butterflies and some animal can be found too.

                Different types of birds like Rufous-belliedNiltava, yellow-brown Tit, Racket tail Dragon, Greater Yellow nape, Grey-headed Woodpecker, Nepal Cutia, Flycatcher, Black-winged cuckoo shrike and various other. If you hike phullchowki in March and April you can enjoy some religious festival you can enjoy the major festivals in July and August too.  Moreover, you will get eye pleasant views of the Kathmandu valley. Plus point is that you can also get the chance to visit Botanical Garden in the Godavari while returning back from a hike.
