Overview

Gokyo Renjo la pass trekking is one of the challenging trekking in Everest region. This trek takes you  to the beautiful  Theme valley, Renjo la pass, Gokyo Ri / Gokyo peak and Gokyo valley with fabulous Himalayan views include Mt. Everest 8,848m/29,021ft, Mt. Lhotse 8,516m/27,932ft, Mt. Makalu 8,463m/27,758ft, Mt. Cho Oyu 8,201m/26,899ft and others many snowy capped mountains of Everest region. Gokyo Renjo la pass trek take your heart of the Everest trekking region. Gokyo Renjo la pass trekking begins from Lukla after 30-35 minutes flight from Kathmandu. Our company guide takes you to through Sherpa village via Phakding Namche bazaar where you will have one day acclimatize and excursion around Namche Bazaar. The trail continues to ascend via Thame lungen and Renjo-la pass (5,345M/17,531ft) and descend to Gokyo Lake and overnight at Gokyo next morning guide will take to you Gokyo Ri 5,360m/17,580ft for superb Himalayan scenery and After breakfast, our guide led trail flat and descend to Machermo and trek continue to Lukla. Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 m/4264 ft) .

After our arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, a our
reprentative/staff will pick us up from the airport and take us to our hotel. We can take
rest and later visit the company office in Thamel, a popular tourist hub. However, there
will be a welcome dinner in the evening where we get to experience excellent Nepalese
cuisine.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft): 40 minutes flight; 8km, 3 - 4 hours trek.

All treks to Everest begin from Luka where we will be flying to early in the morning, right
after breakfast. The flight will be an interesting one since we will be flying amidst the
grand Himalayas in a Twin Otter airplane. We begin our short trek to Phakding
immediately after landing. At one hour’s gradual descent, we will be at a Cheplung
village from where we have a glimpse of Mt. Khumbila (18900ft), a sacred mountain
which has never been climbed. From Cheplung, we continue descending to Phakding
and spend the night.

Day 03:Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft): 11km, 5 - 6 hours.

We begin our trek on uphill and downhill trails with multiple crossings over Dudh Koshi
River and a magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (21,675ft) from the Benkar village. We
cross more bridges and reach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo,
where our trekking permits are checked. We walk furthermore and pass through Jorsale
village before reaching Namche Bazaar. From here, we get beautiful views of the
Himalayas including Everest, Lhotse, Tawache and others. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 04: Namche Bazaar: Rest and acclimatization.

This is the first of the three scheduled rest days which will help us acclimatize to the
high altitude. Since experts believe that it is better to stay active even during rest days
for better trekking experience we are going to spend the day enjoying small hikes in and
around Namche Bazaar. We hike up to Everest View Hotel to enjoy admirable views of

the Himalayan vista. On our way back to Namche we also tour the Khumjung Monastery
(houses a yeti scalp!) and Hillary School. Our guide can also take us to the Tourist Visitor
Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an
assortment of things related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and learn
about the various plant and animal life in the Everest region. Overnight in Namche
Bazaar.

Day 05: Trek from Namche to Thame (3,820M) 12,532ft) (Lodging + B-L-D).

After the breakfast; the trek starts slightly up at the first with the scenic view of Khogde and Rolwaling Himalayas Range throw the beautiful pine forest and Sherpa village Phurti and Thamo than crossing the Bhote Koshi River and ascend to Thame valley. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 06:Full day sightseeing in Thame (old monastery and Tenzing Norgay museum) (Lodging + B-L-D),

Thame is one of the best places to explore the view of superb Himalayans range as well as Sherpa cultures and history. At Thame, many Sherpas live in the village and it is the home of world-famous Mountaineers such as renowned Tenzing Norgay Sherpa: the first ever Mount Everest summit in the mountaineering history, Ang Rita Sherpa: recognized as the snow leopard and Apa Sherpa: a World Recorder Everest twenty-one times Everest Summiter. Iconic value of Thame is its people who are untouched by the effects of modern civilization. Thame, a beautiful village famous for its tasty potatoes, allows your time to explore a famous hillside Thame monastery and the Kyrok monastery. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 07: Trek from Thame to Lunde (4,380 M/15,846ft) (Lodging + B-L-D).

You will start your trip at the first ascend throw the beautiful village Thamethang,Hungmo and Marlung beside of Bhotikoshi River with the rocky trail. After crossing the river our guide will lead you to a beautiful place lungden, where you will spend your night there. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 08:Trek from Lunde to Gokyo Lake (4,790 M/15,715ft), 7-8hrs, (Lodging + B-LD), via Renjo-La (5,360 M/17,585ft),

Wake up early in the morning and ascending to the top of Renjo Pass throw the snow-capped and rocky path with the incredible view of Himalayan Range and descend to beautiful Gokyo Valley. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 09: Early morning Hike to Gokyo Ri (5357 M/17,575ft), and explore Gokyo five lake in the afternoon.

Wake up early in the morning to hike to Gokyo Ri 5350m for panoramic Himalayan views such as Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt Lhotse 8516m, Mt, Mt. Makalu 8463m , Mt.Cho Oyu 8201m, Mt. Kangchung 6063m, Mt. Amadablam 6856m, Mt. Thamserku 6723m, Mt. Kantega 6685m, Mt.Kusum Khagaru 6367m,Mt. Kongde 6011m, Mt.Twache peak 6367m, Mt. Cholaste 6335m, back to Gokyo, lunch at Gokyo lake 4-5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 10:Trek from Gokyo to Dole (4,200 M/13,779ft), 5-6 hrs, (Teahouse + B-L-D).

Even from the trial scenery of Gokyo village on the edge of third lake overlooked by broad Ngozumpa Glacier are mind-blowing. You will explore surrounded by panoramic mountains like Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, K 43, Kangtega, Taboche, Cholatse, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Changtse, and Pumori than trek down to Dole. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 11: Trek from Gokyo to Khumjung Village (3,790 M/12,431ft), 5-6 hrs, (Teahouse + B-L-D).

We’ll follow the path downwards through woods of flowering Rhododendron, and emerge to perfect view Mountain Range till Phortche Thanga than we’ll take ascend easy trail that overlooks the snow-capped peaks the small settlement of Mong. We’ll ascend Mongla Hill on its right side and then head downward to Khumjung. It’s a relatively simple walk to Khumjung – our stopping point – a big village adorned with a handful of many teahouses. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 12:Trek from Khumjung to Phakding (2,610 M/8,562ft), 5-6 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D).

After breakfast, we will descend to Namche Bazaar with the superb view of Himalayas range and trek toward the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through several local villages, follow the Dudhkoshi River one of which is Phakding. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 13:Trek from Phakding to lukla (2,840 M/9,350ft 4 hrs, (Lodging + B-L-D).

Fortunately, the trail was flat starting out. However, the slope gradually increased. The trail started getting steeper right before Nurning. There is painted many mani walls at the top of the steps just before Nurning. Then continue slightly up to Lukla. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 14 :flight from Lukla to Kathmandu: 30 minutes flight .

The flights to Kathmandu are usually scheduled for morning for safety purposes. After
reaching the capital city, we have the rest of the day off to past the time as we please.
We could take a rest in our hotel room or shop for souvenirs for our loved ones. In the
evening, there will be a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of your
journey to the mountains.

Day 15 :Final departure.

Our amazing journey in the Everest region including that to the Renjo-La
crossing high passes comes to an end today. A company representative will
pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at the airport 3 hours before our scheduled
flight.
