From the summit you will have great views of Dhaulagiri II, Dhaulagiri III, Dhaulagiri IV, Dhaulagiri V, Churen Himal (Main), Churen Himal (East), Churen Himal (West),Dhaulagiri VI, Putha Hiunchuli (Dh VII),Gurja Himal, False Junction Peak, Junction Peak. The peak is located at the coordinates of: 28°40′26″N longitude and 83°16′37″E latitude.

Autumn and spring are the best climbing seasons, within those seasons March, April, September and October are the best months for climbing. The trekking caravan route starts from Darbang and normally takes about 7 days to reach the Gurja Himal South base camp via Dharpatan, Takum, Lumsung, Gurja village, Burjung Kharka and Darsing Kharka.
