Overview

The Saribung Peak (6,387m) close to the border of Nepal and Tibet lies in Damodar Himal. Though the peak climbing journey is very much pleasant and easy at times the climbers have to cross the high passes like Saribung La over 5,600 meters and many other. At some sections, the trail even passes through the off-the-beaten-track and thereby results into the summit of Mt. Saribung. In overall, the panoramic mountain vistas from the top of Mt. Saribung, journeying through the rugged landscapes and encountering the very much primitive culture of the region bring you an everlasting adventure experience in your life.

 Saribung trekking offers beautiful Himalayan views of Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Mt. Manaslu 8163m, Mt. Annapurna 8091m with 24 snowy capped mountains of three different trekking destination , The last forbidden kingdom of Nepal mustang, beautiful landscape , mixed culture & challenging saribung pass. Saribung expedition has opened by Nepal government in 2006. Saribung peak is an easy climb for those who have already summited a 6000m or above peak. The approach to Saribung peak climbing has a few high passes between the Lomangthang- Damodar Kunda. The caravan route begins with a 6 hour drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, from Pokhara you fly 20 minutes to the Annapurna region and into the village of Jomsom. The trail goes up to Lo-Manthang via Kagbeni, Chele, Charang. After you explore around the Lo-manthang and Luri cave monastery you will continue to visit a region that offers great scenery, culture, religion and geographical variations. During the trekking, trekkers meet different villages, monasteries, cultures, and religions of the Tibetan people.   • Transportation from Kathmandu - Pokhara (we have flight, Private car or Jeep and Tourist bus Transportation) as per request.

Itinerary

Day 1:Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Drive or fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (915m/3002ft.) which takes
about seven hours by bus and 25 minutes by flight. Overnight at request category hotel
accommodation in Pokhara.

Day 02:Kagbeni.

Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom(2743m/899ft, 20mins) then trek to
Kagbeni (2810m/9219ft, 3-4hrs)Tea house/camping accommodation.

Day 03: Chaqile.

Trekking from Kagbeni(2810m/9219ft) to Chaqile(3050m/10006ft, 05-
06hrs) Tea house/Camping accommodation.

Day 04:Shyangboche.
