Overview

Mt. Manaslu, The eighth highest peak of the world which is elevated at the height of 8,163m/26,781 ft located in the ridges of Mansiri Himal in Gorkha District of Nepal. Manaslu expedition offers a completely unique possibility to experience a fairly “untouched” place of Nepal and incredible majesty along the border of Nepal and China. Mt. Manaslu is known as Mt. Kutung in Tibet. This peak lies about 64km east of Mount Annapurna.  Manaslu means “Mountain of the Spirit”, comes from the Sanskrit word “Manasa”, meaning “intellect” or “soul”.

Mt Manaslu has been popular among hard-hitting trekkers and this region is still unnatural to limited clusters and only thought through trekkers in a group can trek here. Manaslu region is very isolated resulting in challenging rescuing. Manaslu was first climbed on May 9, 1956, by Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu, members of a Japanese expedition. Mt. Manaslu is identified as Mt. Kutung in Tibet. This peak lies about 64km east of Mount Annapurna. Two mountaineers Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu ascended to the top on 9th May 1956. The Manaslu expedition is very popular autumn these days as it sees higher success rates, the Manaslu expedition provides a wonderful and diverse habitat for a rich variety of flora and fauna.

Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 m/4264 ft) .

After our arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, a our
reprentative/staff will pick us up from the airport and take us to our hotel. We can take
rest and later visit the company office in Thamel.

Day 02:Preparation.
