The Trek Everest Renjo Pass and Chola Pass trail is the most adventurous expedition that one can experience in Nepal. It is combines the two passes with the Everest Base Camp trek. The journey along the trail will take travelers across some wonderful massif Himalayan giants like the Mt. Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, Amadablam, Pumori, Nuptse, and many other mountains. Apart from the mountainous terrains, travelers can explore the beautiful landscapes of Gokyo valley and a host of sacred lakes.  From here you may do wonderful day hikes along the string of ‘sacred’ lakes and check out the incredible views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, etc., from Gokyo Ri (5,360 m) and Ngozumba Tse (aka Knobby View, 5,550 m) just north of the 5th lake. Ngozumpa glacier has Nepal’s biggest glacier formation among the other fascinating experiences that a traveler will get to experience during the journey are the beautiful forests with diverse species of flora and fauna, excellent glacial views of Ngozumpa Glacier and rich culture of Sherpa’s people there. During the trekking trip, travelers will get to cross two high passes like the Renjo pass (5340m/17515ft) and the Chola pass (5330m/17482ft). Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 m/4264 ft) .

After our arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, our representative/staff will pick us up from the airport and take us to our hotel. We can take rest and later visit the company office in Thamel, a popular tourist hub. However, there will be a welcome dinner in the evening where we get to experience excellent Nepalese cuisine.

Day 02:Drive from Kathmandu to Sallery (2417/7927ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 03: Trek from Sallery to Nunthala (1988m/6520ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 04:Trek from Nunthala to Bubsa (2600m/8528ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 05: Trek from Bubsa to Surke (2300m/7544ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 06: Trek from Surke to Jor Salle (2850m/9348ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 07:Trek from Jor Salle to Namche (3440m/11283) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 08: Rest and Explore Namche Bazaar (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 09:Trek from Namche to Thame (3780m/12398ft) (Bed-B-L-D)

Day 10: Trek from Thame to Lumde (4300m/ 14104ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

We begin today’s trek very early in the morning to reach the highest part of the entire
trip which is Kongma La pass. We can either take a trail over a hill which is to the
northwest of Chhukung over the Nuptse Glacier moraines or we can walk back to Bibre
and trek on the trail above the Niyang Khola. The top of the pass is marked by cairns and
Buddhist prayer flags. The final descent from the pass is the most difficult part of today’s
journey. After climbing the moraine on the far side, the trail turns north through
Khumbu Glacier which takes us to Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche.

Day 11:Trek from Lumde to Gokiyo (4750m/15580ft) via Renjola Pass (5360m/17585ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Our trail moves along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. Ahead on the trail we
see the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern,
Khumbutse, Nuptse and other mountains. A small ascent takes us to Thangma Riju.
From here we admire panoramic views of the Himalayan vista. We ascend on a steep
trail up to the top of Changri Glacier. As we reach Gorak Shep, we are surrounded by
the Himalayas. After resting for a short while, we continue to Everest Base Camp. We
pass through rocky dunes, moraines and streams before reaching the base camp of the
world’s tallest mountain, Everest. From here we admire Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori
mountains. We trek back to Gorak Shep and spend the night.

Day 12: Rest and Explore Gokyo (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 13:Trek from Gokyo to Thangna (4700m/ 15416ft) (Bed-B-L-D)

Day 14:Trek from Thangna to Dzonglha (4830m/ 15842ft) via Chola Pass (5368m/17611ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 15 : Trek from Dzonglha to Labuchhe (4910m/ 16104 ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 16 :Trek From Labuche to GorkhaShep (5164m/ 16937ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 17 :Trek from GorekhShep to Dengboche (4410m/14464ft) (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 18Rest and Explore Dengbouche (Bed-B-L-D).

Day 19:Trek From Dengboche to Tengboche ( 3860m/12660ft) (Bed-B-L-D)

Day 20:Trek From Tengboche to Manju (2850m/9348ft) (Bed-B-L-D)

Day 21:Trek from Manju to Lukla (2860m/ 9380ft) (Bed-B-L-D)

Day 22 :Lukla to Kathmandu: 40 minutes flight .

The flights to Kathmandu are usually scheduled for morning for safety purposes. After
reaching the capital city, we have the rest of the day off to past the time as we please.
We could take a rest in our hotel room or shop for souvenirs for our loved ones. In the
evening, there will be a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of your
journey to the mountains.

Day 23 :Final departure.

Our amazing journey in the Everest region including that to the base camp of Mt.
Everest and crossing high passes comes to an end today. A company representative will
pick you up from you hotel and drop you off at the airport 3 hours before our scheduled
