Overview

Chulu East peak, situated at the height of (6584m/21,398ft) at the north of Annapurna Himalayan range in Manang district of Nepal, is one of the well-known trekking peaks in western Himalaya. This challenging trip to Chulu East Climbing is combined with the famous Annapurna circuit trek which includes the biggest pass of the world known as Thorang-La Pass. Chulu East is part of the Challange, which consists of Chulu West 6429m, Chulu Far East 6029m, and Chulu West 6584m. The Peak Chulu East provides breathtaking views of Annapurna (I II, III and IV) Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak, and Mt. Manaslu. Chulu Far East was first ascended in 1955 by a German expedition via the Northeast Ridge. Chulu East was first ascended in the spring of 1979 by Dick Isherwood & John Noble via the Northeast Ridge. It forms an integral part of Manang Himal combining both Chulu East and Chulu West Peaks. SA climbs are best in the spring and autumn seasons. Chulu East peak climbing can attract your heart.
