Overview

Tharpu Chuli (5,695m/18,684 ft) also known as Tent Peak, located in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary. At this relatively low altitude, it is among only a few snow-covered summits in Nepal. The ascent is technically easy; very pleasant climb even furless experienced mountaineers. Tent peak climbing is suitable for those climbers who are intending to step up from high pass trekking to amateur mountaineering. You will be climbing the standard Northwest ridge, which is graded at Peu Difficile (PD). There are some vertical and ridge climbing sections that make this climb very interesting and a bit challenging for those attempting to climb a trekking peak for the first time. In our experience and operation, Tharpu Chuli expedition is physically not as challenging as climbing another trekking peak because of its height and snow conditions. Tent Peak summit offers magnificent panoramic views of majestic snow-capped mountains of the Annapurna region. The beautiful landscape during the trekking adds yet another flavor to plan a trip to this spectacular peak. When you trek along the mighty Modi River belt, you will experience the natural grandeur as well as the cultural magnificence of the most popular trekking route in the Annapurna region. The Himalayan plants, lush forests, colorful flowers, culturally rich local people, and snow capped trekking peak will surely mesmerize you.
